1 — General
These general terms and conditions for Julie Joliat Graphic Design (hereinafter referred to as “Edition Julie Joliat“ or “Julie Joliat”) apply to all services and products (collectively hereinafter referred to "products") offered through the online shop of Edition Julie Joliat. All other services are governed by separate terms and conditions. A "customer" as used herein, refers to any natural person or legal entity with whom Edition Julie Joliat has a business relationship.
Julie Joliat will do her best to keep the website as up to date as possible. However we cannot guarantee that items shown will still be available. Once Edition Julie Joliat has received your order request it will be processed within 2-3 working days, subject to availability.
If items you have ordered are out of stock, we will endeavour to contact you through the email you provided when placing the order. If we cannot contact you, or receive no response to our email, we will continue to process the remaining items on your order. Occasionally orders will arrive in separate packages. This will be of no extra expense to the customer.
2 — Payment
We use Mollie and Paypal as third party secure payment gateway:— Payments hosted by Mollie: The personal data transmitted to Mollie are usually first name, last name, address, IP address, your internet browser and device type, your e-mail address, and your payment details (e.g. bank account number or credit card number). Please note that personal data are also passed on by Mollie to service providers, subcontractors or other affiliated companies. The protection of your personal data is very important to Mollie. Mollie has therefore taken various technical and organisational security measures to protect your data and to comply with applicable laws and regulations. Mollie uses, for example, network segmentation, techniques such as firewalls, anti-DDoS systems and file integrity monitoring, strong authentication for users, encrypted transfer of information, monitoring and alerting, and industry best practices for adequate encryption and system configuration.
Payments hosted by Paypal: The personal data transmitted to PayPal are usually first name, last name, address, telephone number, IP address, e-mail address, or other data required for order processing, as well as data related to the order such as number of articles, article number, invoice amount and percent taxes, billing information, etc. Please note that personal data are also passed on by PayPal to service providers, subcontractors or other affiliated companies, insofar as this is necessary to process your order. Depending on the payment method selected via PayPal, e.g. Invoice or direct debit, the personal data transmitted to PayPal are transmitted by PayPal to credit reference agencies. This transfer is used to verify the identity of the order you have placed.
If you pay via bank transfer, the information you provide will be hold by Julie Joliat and Swiss Raiffeisen Bank.
3 — Shipping
We normally ship within 1-3 working days. Within Switzerland and Germany, it takes up to 3 business days, for the rest of the world about 7 business days. A book/planner is about 200 g, you can calculate the shipping rate according to the following:

4 — Distribution
We work with a third party for the distribution: The Gentle Temper GmbH & Co. KG (Alte Schönhauser Straße 35, 10119 Berlin, Register number: HRB 227566 B). The personal data transmitted to The Gentle Temper is usually first name, last name, address, your e-mail address, and your order details.
5 — Pricing and Taxes
VAT is included in the price for orders that are billed in the European Union.
Non-EU orders are “Tax free export delivery”, but local VAT might be added during import. Depending on the country, there might also incur other import taxes. Please check with your local customs regarding the fees. Any taxes or duty fees incurred by shipping to overseas addresses are the responsibility of the customer and these costs cannot be reclaimed from Edition Julie Joliat.
6 — The Contract
The products, services and prices published at www.joliat.net constitute an offer to sell. This offer, however, is always subject to the subsequent condition that delivery may be impossible. This means that articles that are no longer available will not be delivered.
The customer enters into a contract with Edition Julie Joliat upon submitting an order through our online shop or by email. Edition Julie Joliat will acknowledge the receipt of the customer's order by sending an automatically generated order confirmation email.
After ordering, the customer is then obligated to accept delivery of the services or products ordered.
7 — Returns Policy
If you’re not happy with what you have ordered, you can send the items back within 7 days of placing the order and get a refund. The product must be undamaged. Shipping costs can’t be refunded.
We pack our items carefully to make sure they’re sent off properly. Should you nevertheless receive damaged goods, please notify us at order@joliat.net and send a picture of the damage. You will receive a new product (if still available) or a refund.

4 — Storage of data
Data that is provided to us is stored on our third party software Snipcart.
Every communication passing through Snipcart goes through their own servers and is thus encrypted through its SSL/HTTPS certificate. All the submitted information is coded and signed; it cannot be intercepted nor read by a third party. It's impossible for ill-intended individuals to alter the on-page HTML information to submit modified prices or quantities. For each transaction, it crawls back the merchant's website to look for altered information, thus verifying the original information published by the merchant.
Snipcart is hosted with PCI compliance specifications. It never stores any credit card information. Each request to the Snipcart API is encrypted through SSL. If you have any questions about the security of your personal information, please contact us.
5 — Third parties
We will not pass your details onto any third-party provider, only in specific situations such as those listed below:
If you order a product from our website, we will pass the data onto The Gentle Temper GmbH & Co. KG for the distribution, and to Deutsche Post, DHL or Swiss Post, where it will only be utilised to process the order.
We use Snipcart as third party software to process your order, Snipcart will thus get some of your personal data information.
Our mailing list is sent via the software MaxBulk Mailer and is not hosted by a third party.
